The annual Human Resource Students Convention (HRSC) has become a platform of giving importance to the empowerment of human resource management as a core competency of any organization. Now on its fifth year, HRSC goes beyond the Philippines to reach a higher level in international development and cooperation, as it invite delegates from the ASEAN Region.
With the theme “ASEAN HR: The New Era Begins”, the 5th HRSC – International will be held on March 04-06, 2015 from 8:00 am – 6:00 pm at the Bulwagang Balagtas, Ninoy Aquino Library and Learning Resource Center (NALLRC), Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP), Sta. Mesa, Manila.
Covering important topics such as: (Day 1) Leadership Excellence Through an Effective HR Empowerment; (Day 2) Building Bridges, Gaining Competitive Edge; and (Day 3)Breaking Boundaries: Amidst Integration – the three-day convention aims to sharpen and develop the competitiveness of HR people in acquiring modern and effective practices adaptive to the looming ASEAN community integration in 2015 and beyond.
As the ASEAN Integration takes place, each nation will be able to incorporate, relate, discover, and learn from each other. Surpassing existing competitive potential, HR requires intensive professionalism and the higher recognition of the HR function as well.
HRSC has defined the significance of human capital; understood the responsibilities and roles of HR; managed the complexities of a diverse workforce; crossed our boundaries beyond limitations; and now, we are fortifying the ASEAN HR in the new era.
