David and Sandra Tischaefer have owned AREM Property Management, Inc. since 1994. Sandra, as Owner/Broker of AREM, uses her 27 years of Homeowner Association Management (HOA) experience to the benefit of the client. Since beginning with the Sailing Hawks Over Animas Mountain Homeowners Association in 1983, Sandra has expanded her management of HOA’s to include 60 Property Owners Associations and 250 rental properties. Sandra also works as a consultant on many new projects in the area establishing budgets and governing documents for new associations and assisting developers and their attornys in the first phases of their projects. David provides clients with over 30 years of experience as a General Contractor, consulting on the behalf of HOA and private homeowners to ensure quality improvement projects are completed to bid specifications. He also supervises structural and maintenance repairs of properties and responds to maintenance emergencies when necessary.
