Additional Responsibilities:
Execute and develop work flows and processes between varied groups in all aspects of device testing and development
Work flows include interpreting device requirements, test plans, test execution and analysis of technical issues
Solid understanding of best design practices for RF conformance
Establish collaborative working relationships with OEM’s (Motorola, Samsung, LG, Novatel, Sierra Wireless) wireless test equipment vendors (Agilent, Rohde & Schwarz, Spirent, Anritsu), and 3rd party certification labs
Work with state of the art automated test platforms, understand and interpret the outputs of clients’ and Telecom Industry (3GPP, CTIA) test plans executed on these platforms
Partner with Technical Leads and Test Engineers to support integration and verification of 3G/4G WWAN modules and chipsets into diverse categories of devices.

Spirent 3452/AirAccess Test Platforms/AT4
R&S CMU200/CMW500
Anritsu MT8820C
Utilize LTE/CDMA/EVDO diagnostic monitor tools including Qualcomm’s QXDM, Spirent’s UDM, Wireshark to support troubleshooting activities
Support dedicated Test Engineers with CDMA and LTE Pre-certification testing, providing technical guidance, de-bug and issue resolution as needed
Use developed PC skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) to provide updates to Engineering /Program Manager(s) and summary reports to customers
Train others on technical and non-technical subjects when required
Required Skills:
4-year degree BSEE/MSEE strong background in wireless devices OR 2-year degree ASEE with extensive work experience
Expertise in a variety of wireless technologies including: CDMA, legacy 3GPP, 4G LTE, WiFi, and ancillary technologies e.g. UICC/SIM, PCIe, IMS, and USB
Experience trouble-shooting and testing wireless mobile devices
Background in automated, Certification Level testing using Telecom Industry requirements (EIA/TIA-98/2000/866/898/919/3GPP/3GPP2//LTE)
Good mobile wireless technology knowledge
Background working in a Product Development environment, focused on HW/SW integration
Understanding of Radiated Performance measurements and RF techniques
Preferred Experience & Education:
Advanced expertise with handset manufacturers, (Motorola. Samsung, LG) network equipment vendors, chipset vendors (Qualcomm, TI, Broadcom) and/or test equipment vendors
